Tiffany Radcliff, Ph.D.
Dr. Radcliff received her doctorate in Health Services Research, Policy, and Administration from the University of Minnesota's School of Public Health and a B.S. in economics from Texas A&M University. She holds part-time faculty appointments at both the School of Rural Public Health and the University of Colorado's Department of Family Medicine. She previously served as Assistant Director of the Colorado REAP to Improve Care Coordination, which is a targeted health services research program funded by the U.S. Department of Veterans' Affairs.
Dr. Radcliff's primary research interests are in health economics, health policy, and health services research. Topical areas of interest have included improving quality of care in long-term care, access to care for rural and other underserved populations, improving care processes and outcomes, and economic evaluation. Dr. Radcliff's research is currently funded by the Department of Veterans Affairs, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality, and National Institutes of Health (NHLBI ). Her research findings have been published in Health Affairs, the Journal of Rural Health, Archives of Internal Medicine, and Journal of the American Geriatrics Society, among others.
Dr. Radcliff teaches courses in health economics and research methodology. She has served as a research mentor to graduate students and medical fellows interested in analyzing large administrative databases. She is a member of AcademyHealth, the Gerontological Society of America, and the International Health Economics Association/American Society of Health Economists. She also serves as a regular external peer reviewer for several journals and funding agencies.
