Kiavash Kianfar, Ph.D.
Dr. Kianfar is a current Associate Professor at Texas A&M University for the College of Engineering. Dr. Kianfar's primary research interest is the theory and application of mathematical programming. His recent research has been focused on valid inequalities for mixed integer programming problems. He has also done research on the application of mathematical programming, computer simulation, and stochastic models in production and healthcare systems.
Kiavash teaches courses in optimization and mathematical programming at Texas A&M University in the Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering.
Dr. Kianfar received a PhD in Industrial & Systems Engineering from North Carolina State and an MS and BS in Industrial Engineering from Sharif University of Technology in Tehran.
